May Crane (11 Sep 1937 - 17 Mar 2018)

In loving memory of May Crane who sadly passed away on 17th March 2018 aged 80 years...born 11th September 1937...died on St Patricks day...

Mum to Tony, Terry, Trevor and Melody. Nan to 12 grandchildren...Nichola, Stephen, Robert, Matthew, Martin, Emma, Daniel, Jamie, Bethany, Lauren, Jack and Luke. Great-Nan as well including the newest, Darcy. Mum in Law to Mitra, Debbie, Cathy and Steffan

Mum was a loving, kind and generous person. She was also strong, very strong. She was a Nursing Auxilliary at Walsgrave Hospital looking after elderly patients and patients requiring rehab. Her friends and colleagues said she was caring and hard working but also a bit naughty and mischievous..playing little tricks to liven up the day.

Mum enjoyed getting out and about and was nevet happier than going off with Derek (her second husband and the one that gave her the happiest years of her life) in the caravan or just driving places. Over the yeats she had many cats too whom she adored...her last cat, Bebe, will be looked after as well as Mum herself would have...

She also loved all of her grandchildren and did many school runs for 4 of them...Beth, Lauren, Jack and Luke...she would create little menus of food choices for them and when they stayed over she would teach them baking and play boatd games.

The above is brief history of Mum...above all she was our Mum...the centre for us...we will miss her every day...Although she was only little, she was and is a huge presence in our lives and there will forever be a massive Mum-shaped hole where she should be...at least we have loads of memories to try and fill it with. No more pain now Mum...forever in our hearts xx
