Robert was part of my life since my childhood. I am so glad I was able to visit him on my last trip home from Texas last June when he was still able to recognize me. He was a true gentleman and I shall miss him.

I was his first Head of Chemistry at Queensferry HS , Wee Bob - as we called him ! - was an " old school headie" what would he think of today's classrooms with computers etc and all the pupils on their mobile phones. I still have Staff photos.
