At Kincardine Community Hospital on Saturday March 24 2018. Tom Donald Edmond Simpson aged 48 years. Loving and adored husband, father, son, brother and friend. Funeral ceremony at Aberdeen Crematorium Hazlehead (west chapel) on Friday 6th April at 11.00am. All friends respectfully invited. No flowers please but donations if desired at the chapel’s exit to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Honoured and privileged to have met you Tom in Brussels at my first ELF Patient Advisory Group where you made me feel so welcome and continued to do so at future meetings and by email. It was so helpful to share experiences and learn how you were continuing to work after diagnosis, find time for your family as well as advocating for others. Your philosophical approach and willingness to help others especially around understanding on developing lung cancer as a never smoker is what touched me as well as your determined personality. What a wonderful guy.... we'll not forget you... our memories of you will live on amongst our PAG and Roy Castle Lung cancer advocates. RIP x
