Frank Bissell (3 Jan 1929 - 22 Mar 2018)

We have such fond memories of dear Frank. He was a real character in his own right. A most generous and kind friend who handled life in a practical way and with his own brand of humour. I am grateful especially for the support he gave me as a young bobby just staring out on a long career. He always showed great interest in the families he sort of adopted. A truly lovely man. He will be sadly missed.

Uncle Frank, thinking of you, you will be missed by family, friends and the many people whose lives you have touched.

One of the friendliest and most generous people I have had the pleasure to know in 60 years. I shall miss Franks friendship.

I recall with fondness when I opened our shop in Twydall. You offered me kindness and advice. We became neighbours when I lived above my shop alongside you in yours. You introduced me to a number of your clients who became customers of mine, still to this day. Thank you Frank. God bless you. Tony and Vicki Brown
