Sorry to hear about your loss - he really was a lovely man and I always stayed longer to chat with him than I really had time for just because….
Rob - say hi to my dad!

I remember meeting Rob for the first time at Rose Bruford when he came for his interview - all smart in his blue blazer and we hit it off straight away! We always had a laugh and I miss having a good old gossip with him. One of my lasting memories was laughing at him driving his car straight through the College Reception as he waved at me going through! What a character and such a lovely man. RIP Rob xxx

I had the pleasure of meeting Robert on a few occasions. I fondly remember him showing me around his splendidly converted garage and chatting about his past work etc over a cup of tea. Thank you for restoring a couple of my programmes to the highest standard transforming them from only just collectable into items which now have pride of place in my collection.

We would like to thank the family and friends that attended our Fathers funeral this week. We like to thank each and everyone for their well wishes and for their kind and touching comments about our Father. We were truly blessed to have such a well thought after Father who made an impression on so many of you. May he now finally rest in peace as his suffering is over.
We thank you all, for your love and support and for the pictures and stories of him too! They brighten the darkest days x

What a lovely service yesterday. A fine and fitting tribute to a true gentleman. His total commitment and love to his family. His strong work ethics and also his humour. Rob never changed in all the years I knew him and I will miss our chats...long chats.
Rest in Peace

My memories of Rob all include a twinkle in his eye, sharp observations and his sardonic wit. I really enjoyed his conversation and his stories about his time at the British library. A real character whom I was honoured to meet. Rest in peace Rob.
