Iris Lilla Walklett nee Jones passed away peacefully at St. Andrew's Care Home, Sleaford, Lincs on Thursday
March 8, 2018 at the age of 94.
She was predeceased by her husband Fred in 1977; her grandson Neal in 1982 and her daughter Glynis in 2014.
Iris was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her family in Canada; her brother Kenneth (Trudy), her niece Diane (Craig), her nephews Trevor and Glenn (Michelle), and by her great nephews and great nieces Jon (Lisa), Scott, Kirk,
Krista, Gregory, Carson and Hannah and lovingly remembered by her great great niece Milly-Ann and her great great nephew Jon.
She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her close friends in England Tim Rhodes, Nick Parry,and Brian and Janet Beardsell who cared and comforted her for many years.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 18, 2018 at 2.0 pm at Scothern Methodist Church, Scothern, Lincs, followed by cremation.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Iris's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.

Aunt Iris, you will be sorely missed by your family here in Canada... we always enjoyed receiving your letters, and hearing what adventures you had been up to... the memories we have of you will be treasured. We will dearly miss you Aunt Iris but we will always remember the great times we have spent with you on your visits to Canada and our visits to England over the years. We will especially cherish the idyllic week we spent last year with you in Ewerby. God was shining down on us that week with beautiful weather (not a drop of rain!) and you in great health. We will always hold dear the memories of walks around Ewerby & Sleaford, the dinners out, looking over old photos, enjoying ice cream cones, and meeting your wonderful friends and the staff who were so nice to you.
Thank you Tim, Nick, Janet and Bryan for the love and friendship you shared with Aunt Iris over the years, we really appreciate it!
