Rita Catherine Veronica Priest (22 Nov 1953 - 18 Mar 2018)

In loving memory of Rita Catherine Veronica Priest (Kelleher) who sadly passed away on 18th March 2018, aged 64 years.
Loving husband to Nigel, Mum to Colin, Ami and Rhona, Nanny to Dion, Emma, Alyssa, James, Oliver And honorary nanny and great nanny to Danielle, Cameron and Lila.
She married her husband Nigel on September 11th 1976 and moved to her own first home in Winfield street, this became the family home she would continue to live in over the next 42 years.
Rits'a main priority in life is her family, she came from a large family of 8 brothers and sisters and was overjoyed to see her family extending in the next generation, as each grandchild arrived, it's been her top priority to have a hand in watching them grow. (And spoiling them rotten)
Rita's main occupation that she held to closely to her heart was working her way up to be a nurse, her naturally caring nature followed her through the years then she decided to dedicate her time to raising her family.
when her children were all in school, Rita went on to work in nursing homes, occasionally she would let Ami and Rhona go to work with her, which they always loved so much, watching their mum work was Inspiring, they have never seen anyone care so much, and Rita always took time to do the little things she knew were so important to the people under her care, and later lead up to Rhona making her own career choice, as she wanted to make a difference just like her mum did.
Though Rita suffered with her COPD for many years, she never let it stop her, she would regularly be round visiting her grand children, playing games and generally spoiling them in any way she could.
