My heart is heavy with the sorrow that we shall never see my lovely Auntie Anne again but I Bless her for the happiness and laughter that we shared and know these will warm us all in the future as we share our precious memories, which will make us laugh again.

Thank you for posting such a lovely photo of Auntie Anne. It portrays her beautiful positive living spirit and memory very well. My children Grace and Moss will be able to see who i have been talking fondly now. I have only positive, happy and loving memories of Auntie Anne. She is a truly positive person and I will always remember her so.

All my love and also love from my family Sue, Grace and Moss

Anne was such a special lady to all those that knew her. She was big sister, and best friend to me. She bore the last few painful months with a dignity and courage that few of us possess. I shall always remember her with such love and always with a smile. God bless, my little friend.

Nanny was the most selfless person that I have ever known. She would cook a hearty sunday dinner for everyone on a shoe string budget and a smile. She was my living example of selflessness and non judgment. As your wings unfold, I wave goodbye knowing that your soul is in heaven. xxx

I have so many lovely memories of Nan from when I was a child: her taking us to the Isle of Wight on holiday, to bingo (!) or to Motspur park for the day - even going to her house was fun. She was always so generous to us, always thinking of us. Whenever we went to see her she would say, "I've got this for you". She carried it on with our children too, wanting our visits to her to be special. She was so young in spirit, I think that's why she was such a great Nanny.

All of her life she worked hard, She never gave up, never complained, and always put others before herself. That's what made her such a very special person. As well as being the most wonderful mother, she was also my best friend.
