In loving memory of Bob Cooper who sadly passed away on 19th March 2018.
Bob was a one off, much loved by just about everybody who met him. If you were a friend then you were a friend for life.
Bob made a great show of ‘how much?!’ every time his wife spent any money, but was actually very generous in giving time and money (and beer!) to anyone who needed it.
Respect was at the heart of everything he did and said - he was after all the Guv’Nor.
Bob looked after his family and friends, and was still looking out for Veronica, Jo, Chris and the kids right up to the end. Family meant a lot to Bob and he thought the world of his sisters, and their families.
There is a lot of pride but also a lot of sadness today in the Cooper/Wilson households.

We would like to invite you to celebrate Bob’s life and raise a glass with us, at the Ravensdale pub on Sherwood Hall Road, Mansfield, after the funeral.

My best memories of Bob are on the boat at Billing; always happy, Bob always cracking jokes, or grossing me Veronica and Jo out with a bodily function or bad taste joke! Best days were when we got out into the countryside on the river, me and Jo playing 'maggot hospitals' with Bobs fishing supply! So generous with his time for me, his love for his family, and I never saw him in a bad mood, well maybe once when me and Jo overstepped the mark! But it didn't last long :)
