Mary Garvey (14 Nov 1952 - 18 Feb 2018)

Mary passed away peacefully on Feb. 18th after a long battle with illness. A battle she fought with all the fortitude and humour she so often displayed in life.
She will be greatly missed by John, all the children in both families and all the wonderful grandchildren, including Sebastian who came into this world 3 days after Mary’s passing - bringing some equilibrium back into the world. She was loved deeply and returned that love, without question, in return. Mary was a truly remarkable person giving love, strength and friendship to all around her. She never complained about her problems but tackled them head on with a strength that was a wonder to see. “Don’t complain just get on with it as best you can” was Mary’s mantra in life and this gave all who loved her the comfort and strength they needed.
Our world is missing a truly remarkable woman but the angels have gained a truly remarkable friend.
Sleep well and be at peace Mary.

The beautiful memories of the times we’ve spent together make me smile, only until the moment when they eventually remind me that you’re no longer here. I miss you mum and you’ll forever be in heart.

In life I loved you dearly, in your passing I love you still. In my heart you will always hold a place no one will ever fill.
