Shirley Medea Plumb (12 Jan 1925 - 5 Mar 2018)

In loving memory of Shirley Medea Plumb who sadly passed away on 5th March 2018 at the age of 93. She was born in Sydney Australia on 12th January 1925 and live a full life.

Shirley was an actress in the mid 40's to the late 50's, she had many parts in various Sydney theaters before moving to England and joined the Old Vic in Bristol. Shirley also acted in several films at Bushy Studios, such as Dark of The Moon and Pink String and Sealing Wax.

Shirley moved to Petwood Hotel, Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire and ran the hotel with her husband Harry Plumb for nearly 10 years. She then moved back to Australia in the 70's with her son till the mid 2000's when she move back to the UK and moved to Louth about 4 years ago.
