Luis Franz Garcia (25 Aug 1950 - 2 Jan 2018)

In loving memory of Luis Franz Garcia who sadly passed away unexpectedly on 2nd January 2018 in Nong Khai, Thailand.

Luis, dearly loved dad of Celia and Daniel, cherished brother of Neisa, Ruben, Dina and Haydee, and beloved uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in Santa Cruz de le Sierra, Bolivia, Luis travelled the world and lived in three continents. His adventures led him from La Plata in Argentina, to Washington DC in the US, to Galicia in Northern Spain to Stockholm in Sweden to Nong Khai in Thailand. However, the longest part of his life, and where he raised his family, was in his beloved Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh. Luis spoke four languages, loved to cook and Salsa dance, and lived his life to the full. He is greatly missed by his family.

A memorial service will be held at The Braid Hills Hotel in Edinburgh to which all family and friends are welcome.
