In loving memory of Margaret Anne Elliott née Avérre of 113 Spencer Place, Chapletown, Leeds who was granted her angel wings on 29th January 2018.
After nearly a decade of fighting Alzheimer’s, Margaret passed away calmly and peacefully at 2am precisely, surrounded by her loved ones at Park Lodge Care Home, aged 81.
Margaret, born 1st October 1936 in Rainton Gate, County Durham to Eliza and John Henry Avérre, dedicated her life to her family as a dearly beloved wife to Cliffton Bryan Snr and mother to Beverley Anne, Cliffton Jnr, deceased, and Garry James.
In addition, Margaret leaves behind her six grandchildren, Ashton, Grace-Ann, Charley, Adam, Paris and Frankie. Along with her three great grandchildren Kyla, Cliffton and Baby Pickles, who she was delighted to know of though unfortunately did not get the chance to meet.
Margaret was a warm-hearted, generous northern woman who touched numerous lives in the community; a true friend and confidante to so many, especially those she took under her wing and those who passed through the blues! An inspiration to all, she will be greatly missed.
The Bryan Family invite all who wish to pay their respects to accompany them in celebrating Margaret’s life on Friday 2nd March at St Aidan’s Church, Roundhay Rd from 12 noon, with a short service at Lawnswood Crematorium, followed by the wake at The Sheepscar, Saville Dr.
