Elaine you were my big sis. We maybe didn’t always get on when we were younger, I was the annoying little sister you had to babysit. That involved you leaving me on the swings whilst you enjoyed the company of the boys in the shelter.
Age difference has a clever way of shrinking though, as we grew up the age gap lessened and we became real friends and I always knew you were there for me if and when I needed you.
Even through your illness you were there to support me and I hope I was there for you.
I’ll remember you with smiles and Bess will never forget you.
Love Sue xx

Our thoughts are with Paul, Matt and family. Elaine and Paul (and Matt and Ben!) were our very first clients back in 1994 and we will always remember their support in the early days of setting our business up.

Our deepest sympathy to Paul Matthew and family. We knew Elaine through Mountford House when our children all went to school together. We had a Mathew too so as there were two Matthew Holmes ours was known as Mathew Charles so for years everyone thought my surname was Charles. Elaine and I did used to laugh about it. We shared some happy times and despite the changes in our lives since these schooldays we both tried to keep in touch. We were so sorry to hear of Elaine’s illness but she seemed so positive and we all thought she could fight it but sadly this wasn’t to be. Elaine was a lovely person a caring Mother and wife and our hearts go out to all the family. We are so sorry we can’t attend Elaine’s funeral but we will be thinking about you all so much. God bless xxx
