In loving memory of the late Samuel James Reason who sadly passed away on 25th November 2014.

Sam was an honest, loving and caring young man who has left this life too soon. He was a fantastic Son, Brother, Grandson, Uncle and Nephew, he will be missed more than he could ever imagine.

Sam grew up in Melton Mowbray attending Brownlow, John Fernley and King Edward schools before going on to join the RAF in 2004 based at Lyneham and Marham, serving in one tour of the Falklands and two in Afghanistan, Sam left the RAF in early 2014 after 10 years service to peruse his dream of running is own business in London.

Sam enjoyed many things such as Skiing, Camping, DJing, Music, spending time with friends and family, and travelling the world, among others, as family we have many special memories to cherish and we hope you do too. Please feel free to leave your own tribute to Sam or light a candle in his memory on this page.

Sam's farewell will be held on the 11th December 14 at 12pm St Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray, followed by a celebration of his life at the British Legion. As his family we have requested family flowers only but if you wish to make a donation there are two charities listed on this page and we are adding a third one that was close to Sam's heart, details are below.

I was with Sam only a few weeks before he passed away and he told me he had found inner peace with himself and had learnt how to surrender to life. We even spoke about death and how its just a natural part of life and we should embrace it when it comes as a natural rebirthing of something new. Sam's soul is reborn and the fruits of his enthusiasm has positvely effected many people including those he coached. with love brother xxx

I share so many great memories of Frank; our annual camping trips to Ferry Meadows (normally being ultra competitive), skiing in Andorra (feeling envious of how good he was), trying to win a few bets at the York Races having sat through a torrential downfall of rain, and all the other Amateurs events he got involved with (many a party!). I am grateful to have known him and he will always be remembered as the sweet, gentle, fun, Frank! My thoughts and prayers are with him and with you at this sad time. Gone But Not Forgotten. xXx

Sam.... Knowing you was a privilege. I remember when I first met you, how shy, timid and quiet you were!!! Well the airforce sure brought out a more confident Sam!!
You were kind, thoughtful and a true gentleman.
