Mo passed away peacefully after a long illness on the 28th January aged 64 years. A much loved sister to David and Susan and a dear auntie. Mo will be missed by all her family and friends.

Memories from her sister Susan,

Growing up together as children we were all very close, Mo was the youngest of 3. She was born and grew up in Hanwell west London where she went to school reaching grammar school level. On leaving school she went to Brighton to train in hotel and catering and achieved a national diploma.

For the next few years she formed close friendships which have lasted right up to her death. Working in the catering industry for most of the time she lived in Brighton, marrying first Stephen Brand who she met while at college in Brighton and then Tony Brown later on. In time she worked for the local council in the finance department and moved into Lincolnshire where she spent the rest of her life, first in Gainsborough area and then settling in Sutton On Sea, where she had memories of holidays from her childhood with Susan and David and her parents who had retired to Sutton On Sea.

Mo often enjoyed walking around Sutton On Sea especially along the sea front and beach and would meet friends locally in Sutton On Sea at the Marisco. She didn't have any children but preferred the company of her cat Farley who she had from a young age but sadly died last year and Mo missed her very much.

No Longer In Pain.
We shared some good times and remained friends for 30 years.
Sharing some fantastic times in Tunisia, Malta, Spain, Yugoslavia, Devon and the Isle of Wight.
Maureen was always friendly, caring and a great listener. She had an intelligent mind and a quick wit to go with it.
She enjoyed the odd drink with good company in ‘The Alexander Inn’ in Portslade, East Sussex with all her friends where whisky and coke were the tipple of the day!
She loved her Mother and Father dearly and missed them too.
Good night ‘Fairy’ they are all there waiting for you.
Rest In Peace Mo.
