I remember the first time I met Grandad and Nanny in Australia. We surpised them at Uncle Darren’s house. I thought they already knew coz Grandad were wearing pair of trousers and jacket, looking very smart.

He walked with me for a while when I got scared of free-roaming Iguanas in Koala Santuary and told the me that it’s okay, they run away as you walk closer. He was a true gentleman. That is how I will always remember him. Rest in peace, grandad. You will always have a special place in my heart.

Thank you for being my Father in Law, I never said it but you was a Dad to me. You were one of the kindest, gentlest people I have ever known. You have always been a pleasure to spend time with, be it sat at the kitchen table or in the pub you have always been really good company. Your smile could always light up a room. It was always such a pleasure to see your face light up when Sharon turned up to visit you. Your sense of humor stayed with you to the end with that cheeky little wink as you sneaked that extra sweet when no one was looking.
Thanks for being in my life and everything you did for Sharon and me.

Dad was always a good decision maker. His choices made it better for all of us. Sad that dementia robbed him of that & ultimately his life.
I'll miss my best mate

Even when you were in the latest stages of dementia you could still make me smile and feel the love you had for me. I will miss you greatly. Lots and Lots of Love.
