Karen Ann Nix (7 Jul 1962 - 26 Jan 2018)
In loving memory of Karen Ann Nix, who sadly passed away on 26th January 2018.
Karen was a much loved mother, partner, daughter... she'd at last found the house of her dreams, had plans to get married; she had a wonderful, close-knit set of family and friends who all loved spending time with her.
Karen loved the springtime - seeing the plants flower in the garden, and the birds come to the feeders. She loved animals, especially elephants, and had always had pets, from rabbits to chickens! She had volunteered at zoos, but then went on to go toward helping many children in need - Karen worked in Child Protection for many, many years. She was so strong-willed - she could get through anything. Organised, clever and level-headed, she could tackle/advise on any problem, and she never, NEVER gave up.
We're all so saddened by her death - broken by the suddenness of it all. Yet we know deep down Karen would be so proud of her family and friends, and would wish them nothing but happiness. So please help us celebrate the life that she had; how she always put others first, and always gave us the best laughs.

As with everyone, I was shocked and saddened to hear for your sudden passing. A lovely, strong willed lady that said it how it was and extremely proud of her family. RIP Karen, you'll be missed so much.

I am going to miss your "leave it with me" response, your laugh and that look you would give me over the top of your glasses when I asked if you could squeeze something else in. You always found a way! You are a sparkling star and every time I look into the night sky I will remember the difference you made to everyone who was lucky to know you. Rest in Peace Karen.

Still can't believe you're gone. I've so much to tell you already - I fed baby piglets yesterday, you'd have loved the photos. Rest easy Mom. I'll look after the house, and take care of everyone... just like I said I always would.
