In loving memory of Tony Edwards who sadly passed away at home on 25th January 2018.
At the age of 6 Tony was very ill with measles, he in fact had died twice. His weakened immunity left him week chested with Asthma. At the age of 8 tony was sent away to an open air school on the coast. He loved his time being a boarder and had many adventures. When he came back home at the age of 14, he was sent to main stream school for a year,I really don’t believe he actually attended there very often.
Tony always loved working with his hands, he had wanted to be a carpenter joiner, but because he had to spend a 3 year apprenticeship in the workshop he left, he never did like being indoors. Over several years he had many trades ending with Electronic security. Tony was always exceptional at whatever he did, and was always loved by his clients.
After 6months of courting tony and I married in November 1975. We’d meet by working for the same Aerial Company.
Tony and I had many holidays in both Europe and America. America being one of his favourite places with Germany running a very close 2nd.
Tony was a big dog lover and especially loved German Shepherds. He loved is dog Buddy but as his illness took hold he was unhappy that he could no longer play or walk him. Tony loved living in Branston and had often said he’d regretted not moving here sooner.
