Peter Joynes (Passed away 18 Jan 2018)

Peter Derick Joynes passed away peacefully on the 18th January 2018 aged 82 years. He was born in Northampton in July 1935 where he lived until 1969 when he moved to Lincolnshire for work. He live there for the rest of his life. He was a member of a pub crib and domino team, also learning to play Bridge later in life, a member of the Newton bridge club. He was a keen chess player and loved his garden. In his younger days he loved hill walking and used to guide parties of walkers up Snowdon in Wales. in later life he loved to take several short breaks every year to Norfolk, a county he always loved.
