How many names does a person need, perhaps just one or two
But this young man had to beat the lot, he was called by quite a few
Now Ant was quite a lad you know for camping and for cars
He loved to travel the countryside exploring the local bars
The camper was one of his delights, off he and Jey would go
around the United Kingdom with Mandy and Darren in tow
The families they all had fun and have memories to share
of very good times they all have had when none had had a care
But his greatest passion we all must know was the buying of a house,
Jey was absolutely great; you never ever hear her grouse
Up they got and found another; surely this was just the one
Our Ant had his project so now the works begun
with hammer and nails and pots of paint, our Ant would make quite sure,
this dwelling was to be the final one, there wouldn't be any more.
Who could guess where this craze came from
well it had to be from his Dad and Mum.
How could he leave us all so soon, we shall never know
it wasn't his choice this journey to take because he loved us so
A limb has fallen from our family tree
I keep hearing a voice that says, Grieve not for me
remember the best times the laughter and song
the good life I've lived while I was strong
continue our heritage, I'm counting on you
keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through
My pain is all gone, my soul is at rest
remember please, I was truly blessed
continue traditions however small
go on with your lives I care for you all
I miss you all dearly, but it is the path I now take
Remember me always - and always for my sake
Perhaps my time was all too brief
Don't lenghten it now with undue grief
Lift up your hearts and share with me
God has me now, He has set me free.
my very humble offering
with lots of love Auntie Joyce x x x x x
