In loving memory of Peter Vance Case who sadly passed away on 7th January 2018. Much loved husband of Bridget and also loved father of Charles (Charlie) and Elizabeth (Elizabeth Lephard). Grandfather to Billy, Sammy and Benji and step-grandfather to Jessica. Music teacher of many in schools in Lincolnshire.

Peter died in Gosberton House Care Home following a battle with esophageal cancer, aged 71. Faithful to the Lord until the end, he and Bridget were active members of Peterborough Cathedral, one of the chosen memorial charities.

All are welcome at his funeral celebration, information further to that on this website from Co-op Funeral Directors, Spalding (formerly "Clubley's")

Peter was my flute teacher for many years - sharing his fantastic gift of a love of playing music that is still part of my life today. My thoughts are with his family. Emily Grief

  • Bridget, I was really sad to hear of Peter's passing. He was such a smashing bloke - always cheerful, hugely skilled in his work and an inspiration to work with. He was there at the start of my career with the Music Service and such a support to me in my early county orchestra conducting experiences. As woodwind section coach, the players always warmed to him. His commitment was total and I have a particularly enduring memory of his helping enable two thrilling performances of 'Peter and the Wolf'. What a lovely chap: I am so very grateful to have known him. Sincerely Richard Green
