Ernest Edward Bowman (1 May 1939 - 8 Jan 2018)

In loving memory of Ernest Edward Bowman.

Following a short illness, Ernie was admitted to Watford General Hospital on Friday 5th January and sadly passed away in the early hours of Monday 8th January 2018.

Ernie will be fondly remembered by many; from his family origins in the North East, and his time in the RAF, to his friends and neighbours in Iver, and latterly in Berkhamsted and Long Buckby. He will be sorely missed by his wife, three sons and seven grandchildren.

We would like to invite all those who wish to remember Ernie to a short service at Rainsbrook Crematorium, Ashlawn Road, Rugby CV22 5QQ on Monday 5th February at 1pm, followed by an opportunity to raise a glass in Ernie's memory at The Peacock, 23 Market Place, Long Buckby NN6 7RR.
