Gordon, in the Cadoxton School Cricket Team, year unknown. There are times when in my eyes he is still this cheeky young man. Love to all, Xenia and Paul

Gordon will be greatly missed, even half a world away in Australia. I have grown up hearing tales of his youth about times he and Dolly had with my parents Xenia and Paul Newcombe. I remember a lot of funny things about Gordon. His terrorising Emma and Lisa with his Planet of the Apes mask. Stories of him out and about with my dad. I had the very great pleasure of having a few drinks with Dolly and Gordon and Emma and Lisa, and being introduced to Ellie as her rich uncle from Australia ( I am not her uncle and not rich) when she was about 4 years old. I have nothing but love for all of you and wish you strength in the times to come. Rest assured Gordon the Legend lives on. God Bless all of you. Jean-Paul
