In loving memory of the late Angela Jayne Ward who sadly passed away on 14th November 2014.

Ange was a wonderful wife, mother, nanna and true friend of many.

Her whole life was not just devoted to her family but also her much loved animals, especially Britain's Ponies and Rhymsglo Labradors.

One of the main factors in Ange's willful battle against the Multiple Myeloma, which she was diagnosed with in 2012, was the passion and the dedication that she would put into researching, learning and helping of others. She was not just a friend online to local people, but an inspiration to many across the world helping to deal with this cancer.

Just thinking of how wonderful it would be to pick up the phone and chat for hours like we used to do. Miss you so much my darling best friend; enjoy that sleep because we'll have so much to talk about when I get there. Love you always, Ali. Xxxxxxx

My dearest Friend. I cane across the photos of us at MacArther Glen today; the ones you made me promise not to show anyone as you were falling over with laughing. That's the main thing I remember us doing, laughing. Even the dark times, and we went through some of those together my friend. Miss you everyday still, still can't go down the Coach rd. In my mind your still there, building the leaning tower of fag ash and bursting with laughter at a shared (disgusting) joke. Love you Ange. Xxxx

I have lit a candle for you my beautiful, funny, courageous mum. As I did this I thought to myself, no candle or candles will shine as bright you do in the sky or in my heart. X x x

Your reply "we will see!!"

Many memories, but the PatNav incidents, and crossing the Humber Bridge 4 times in succession, when not necessary still makes me chuckle..... Also loading Rhapsody and Joy at Butterley..... Joy did a proper Thelwell refusal not to go in the trailer, we all laughed at Andy muscling her in - between us we were all incapacitated in one way or another, so we couldn't help!

My heart goes out to all the family, Angie was truly one of a kind. Such a lovely lady, full of wisdom, love, empathy and courage. She touched the lives of literally thousands, either in person, through her ponies, her dogs, or here on the internet. She will be missed by so many. The sky has gained a very bright star. I am honoured to have counted myself amongst your friends, and will miss you more than words can say.... The ponies will carry on your legacy - although we wont have our excited post-foaling phone calls in the middle of the night to discuss the new arrivals.... Rest in peace Angie.... Until we meet again my dearest friend xxx

Even though your gone, I know you haven't left, you will forever be in my heart, those footprints you made will always be in my heart & soul. No matter what distance or planes are between us, we will always be so very close, for a love & bond so strong is unbreakable. I love you so much Mum. Because of you I am who I am & have 3 beautiful children, your grandbabies. You were a brilliant Mum & the best Nanna, thank you. Spread your wings & fly, but don't go too far, watch over us all because we still need you Mum, we always will. I will miss you everyday until we are together again, save a place for me next to you. Mum!!
On the 10th June 1979 you brought me into this world, without that gift of life I would not have the most wonderful family I could of ever wished for.
From that day forward you have meant the world to me, and you always will.
At this tough time the one thing that stands out the most, is what you wrote for me in the front page of a book as a Christmas present in 1992 and reads as follows;
The Trials Of Life by David Attenborough.
"There are many Bryan. May god guide you always in yours. All my love mum"
I miss you so much.............
Your loving son xxxxxxxxx

If I could write a story it’d be the best I’ve ever told,
About my Best Friend Ange, the memories I’ll always hold.

A friend so loyal and very true, A friend so dear to me and
Many other’s too.

A friend who was always there when needed, always there to
Lean on and dry the tears I cried.
Someone I could always talk to who, never seemed to mind,
Her voice loyal and gentle her words so honest and kind.

A friend who touched the lives of many, an inspiration to
us all.
A very courageous lady with, the biggest heart of all!

Ange, I’ll always miss you but, you’ll never be far away;
I’ll just hold on to our memories till we meet again one day!

Love You lots xxxxxx!

Ange, it has been such a pleasure to have known you for so long, you are the strongest most brave person i've ever met, you are an inspiration to us all. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have my little lady Orchid, thank you so much. Britain's ponies will be strutting their stuff in the ring for you Ange. Rest in peace and sleep tight up there, heaven really has gained one special angel.

Love you lots xxx
