Marie Catherine Collinson.

Mum passed away suddenly but peacefully in her sleep - at home, as she lay beside Dad - on the morning of Tuesday 19th December 2017.

Only 10-days previously Mum and Dad had celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary surrounded by loving family and friends. I can honestly say, I'd never seen mum look happier as she celebrated 60-years of marriage to Dad. We have some beautiful memories of that evening as well as some of the best photographs of mum we've ever seen. Mum and Dad had been together for over 65-years.

Born & bred in Sheffield and retiring to Mablethorpe. Mum is survived by loving husband Doug, two sons Ricky & me (Craig) and was Nan to four grandchildren - Jessie, Bryn, Billie & Mack and one great granddaughter - Piper.

Mum will be remembered in a Civil Service on Thursday 18th January 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Alford Crematorium and afterwards we will celebrate her life at Alford Corn Exchange. All friends & family will be very welcome.

Mum loved flowers so there are flowers but if you would prefer then donations can be made via the Funeral Director to Guide Dogs for the Blind.
