In loving memory of Reginald ( Reggie) Paul Brown who sadly passed away on 16th December 2017.

Reggie's life will be celebrated and remembered by family and friends for his love of animals, music and sense of humour.

His humility, selflesness and fierce independence, were attributes which many aspire to.

Often quietly reflective, Reggie could also light up a room with his presence, such was his persona and character.

The loss of Mom & Dad quite early in our lives, devastated the family. However, whilst acknowledging the effects of this grief on all siblings and extended family, it was soon realised that their departure particularly affected our younger brother Reggie. His coping mechanism became his salvation by caring for his dogs, his work and last but not least, his close friends who became 'family'. This brings comfort to his family at this difficult time.

This is a tribute to my brother Reggie,
which for me, portrays the bond between us as brothers. 'Thanks Reg, for spending 10 hours in a cold, miserable garage, fixing my scrap of a car on it's last wheels! This was at a time when my family finances were to say the least, 'stretched' and the only payment you would accept was a pint in the local pub. Cheers to you Reg, my generous, selfless brother'. Xl

Forever in my heart Bro.

Love Dave. X

  • A fitting tribute from Dave to Reg. A bond between brothers which can never be broken.

  • I can only add to that, the number of times Reggie fixed our cars too. Like the day my key broke in the lock so I couldn’t even get in it - by the following day it had a complete new lock & set of keys. And when a storm removed ridge tiles from our roof, landing on my car bonnet - first a climb like a mountain goat to fix the roof, followed by knocking the dents out of the car - each time monetary payment refused. So many acts of kindness, too numerous to mention, but will never, ever be forgotten. Fly high with the angels Reg - you were loved more than you ever knew xx

The words do sum up the man - a man full of compassion for people and animals. The most lovable rogue I’ve ever known and the person my son most looked up to. Reunited with his mom & dad and older brother, all lost far too soon x

The abiding memory I have of my brother is how he wept as a small child when he found a little injured sparrow. He had a big heart. He will forever be in the hearts of his family. We love him. We miss him so much. We would all like to thank his friends for being there for him when he needed you. That means so very much. God bless you.
