OUR WINNIE
Our Winnie was loved so much,
With her zest for life and her caring touch.
She lit up a room with her beautiful smile,
and always went that extra mile.
She lived for her family, so happy and proud,
nothing else mattered as long as they were around.
Raised in Derry, we’re made of strong stuff,
Sixth of 13.... that made her tough!
The Sharkey family always remain close,
there are a few who loved her most.
My earliest memories include playing ball,
to Winnie the Witch! I still hear her call!
She made us up , to win fancy dress,
that was Our Winnie, she was the best!
It always felt special to be by her side,
these special memories will always survive.
A Mother, a Gran, a Sister a Friend,
she lived as she died the best till the end.
Such a strong woman, an inspiration,
always on the go... same destination
M&S Bexley was her vocation!
She shopped till she dropped,
she loved her style,
and getting a bargain, well that made her smile
It was this much.... but I didn’t pay that!
that was her phrase, she made me laugh.
I loved Our Winnie, a special Aunt,
she’s now up above, listening to this rant!.
Never forgotten, and always missed,
sending all my love, and sealed with a kiss. X

Auntie Winnie was beautiful glamourous kind and thoughtful she always put others first and expected nothing in return. She joined in what ever the celebration and was the best of fun. I always loved her and will miss her so much. R I P 💚🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🤔
