I remember coming to one of Mum's pottery classes in the early noughties. It was a class for adult learners of all abilities, and there was a wonderful atmosphere of trust. For one autistic gentleman, the class helped him develop the cofidence to say short sentences in front of a group. For one gentleman whose speech I could not understand and whose hands were weak and trembling, the class helped him to realise his complex and beautiful ceramic designs. Mum taught so much more than pottery in those classes, and I am proud of her. Thank you to the learners and learning partners who gave Mum so much fulfillment in her work as a teacher.

I remember when her arrow rebounded from the target and shot between my legs, and getting her to buy me a drink by standing on the arrow she lost and saying a drink for the finder?

I can also remember our first fossil collecting trip and Angelika running up and down a slope a giddy as a school girl shouting "put it in my hand"

Angelika was one of the nicest people I have met. I didn't know her very well, but we shared common interests in crafts. Always the professional in her work, I will miss our chats at tutor meetings/training courses. The world will be a lesser place without her.
I was so so sorry to hear that she is no longer with us.

When we first got to know each other, Mick was always surprising us with Derbyshire sayings. On one occasion, he wanted to express astonishment. "Well, hop in my pocket!" he exclaimed. Mum went off into hysterics. She thought he had said "Hot poo in my pocket!" Since then, "Hot poo in my pocket" has been a staple exclamation of surprise in the family.

My heart started to beat just inches under yours. Last week , I was there to see yours stop beating. In the 36 years between, we have never been separated by more than a heartbeat. You are the core of my very being and always will be. Everything about me that is good, I owe to you. I miss you.

Angelica will be truly missed at Foiled Again Fencing Club.
When I hear the Pink Panther Anthem I will always remember how Angelica put fun into all she did. She would even make footwork exercise fun with the Pink Panther.

Decades ago, Angelica and I spent one lovely day together in London before I returned to Canada. I am the youngest sister of her mother Barbara. Angelica impressed me as a kind, thoughtful, gentle and loving person. I will not forget her. Celia
