Peacefully passed away at University Hospital Of Wales – Basil aged 98, well known for his time as a
coal man at W Baker & Sons, Barry. Adored husband of the late Mabel, cherished Dad of Hilary and Ray and Dad In Law of Liz and the late Dave. Adored Gramps to Michelle, Katie, Katrina, Christopher and Leigh and Great Gramps to Will, Gabrielle, Finley and Macie
Service to take place at All Saints Church, Park Road, Barry on Thursday 28th December at 10:45am
Followed by cremation at Cardiff & Glamorgan Crematorium, Port Road, Barry

I will miss this wonderful gentleman, his cheery face and love of life. It was a pleasure serve him when doing his shopping in high street over the last 15 years. I enjoyed our chats, learning all about his wonderful family and his early life as a cole man. RIP Basil xx
