In loving memory of the late Walter Faulkner who sadly passed away on 10th November 2014. Wally was a fantastic guy who was loved by everyone who knew him.
Wally was sadly diagnosed with cancer just 3 weeks ago and due to his diabetes the cancer was accelerated and quickly spread. Wally sadly lost his battle on the 10th November leaving behind his beloved wife June, 3 cherished children Kevin, Sharon and Beau 5 grandchildren Stephanie, Kelly, Daniel, Kira and Danielle and 6 great grand children Rebekah, Jacob, Kia, Tyler, Grace and Layton.

Kevin best memory of his dad was the day Wally came home with season tickets for him and Wally for Nottingham forest. Wally took his son all around the country and Europe to watch the best teams play during the Brian Clough and Peter Taylor days. This memory was one of Kevin's fondest memories.

Sharon's fondest memory of her dad was when they went for a trip to Cornwall and Wally was jumping waves with his little girl, however as Sharon jumped Wally didn't and he ended up a very wet yet funny daddy.
Wally's last words to Sharon where 'take care of your mum and I love you'.

Beau will cherish the last hug that his dad gave him, in Wally's final days he was bed bound which required Kevin, Sharon and Beau to help move him. On one particular day Wally asked Beau to sit him up, Beau put his arms around him and shuffled him up the bed.....Wally didn't let go......he held on to Beau.........a hug that won't ever be forgotten.

One memory that Kevin, Sharon and Beau will always remind and live by is.........
'Work hard for what you want & always respect your elders'

Wally met the love of his life June in January 1956 and married her March 10th 1956 they have been inseparable until the day he past away. June will forever remember his cheeky smile, his handsome good looks and his kind gentle nature. Wally has been a fantastic husband to June for 58 years and has been her rock through out. Wally and June built a fantastic life together and cherished every moment.

So please join the family in remembering Wally for the legend he was.

Sadly taken from us to soon, always in ours hearts and never forgotten xxxx

God saw you getting tired grandad
And a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered 'come with me'.
With tearful eyes we watched you slowly fade away.
Although we loved you clearly , we would not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.
Love and miss you loads grandad you will always be in my heart all my love Steph. I will always remember you. xxxxxxxxxxx
