In loving memory of Grahame George Oakes who sadly passed away on 5th December 2017 to Cancer. He died peacefully at home with his family around him.


Grahame was born on the 28th Febuary 1951 in Louth, Lincolnshire to Iris (Nee Stainton) & George Oakes. He has an older sister Geraldine & a twin brother Howard.
In November 1978 he married Jane (Nee Harness) at St Michaels Church, Louth. In July 1986 they had a daughter Rebecca Jane & in March 1988 they had a son Matthew Thomas George.

Grahame spent many years as a shift foreman & machine operative at various plastic factories in Louth, Lincolnshire. He loved playing football when he was younger. He also enjoyed reading & listening to music. One of Grahame's favourite places was Great Yarmouth in Norfolk. As a child he spent many happy holidays there with his parents & siblings. A tradition he carried on with his own family.
