In loving memory of John Michael 'Mick' Tennant who passed away peacefully surrounded by love on the 3rd December 2017, 74 years. Michael leaves two children, Stephen and Lisa, but was a father to all. He was a brother, an uncle, a granddad but most of all a friend. A beautiful man.

His kindness and his warm smile optimised the love he had for any one to whom he would meet and would often have a story to tell.

Michael was an avid sportsman and would watch any sport that was being shown on television - morning, noon or night.

Starting out as an apprentice blacksmith, Michael would find his way in to the RAF where he became a Senior Aircraftman. He then spent his time driving vehicles of all capabilities and was especially proud to be the poster boy for the AA.

Michael will now be reunited with his wife, Pauline, whom he was happily married to until she sadly lost her battle to cancer in 2008.

We shall not mourn this loss but celebrate a wonderful life with laughter and love.

Michael Tennant - The man, the myth, the legend. #LovedForever

Rest in Peace Mick, I hope you and Pauline are sharing some special moments together, We used to share many dinner breaks at work and she would always fill me on the family gossip! Even back then I knew you had an amazing family! And one thing that will always stick with me is the strong bond you and Lisa shared. I hope to share this same affection with my own daughters and this is down to me seeing the beautiful connection that a father and daughter can have just like you two have shown, so thank you for teaching so many of us what’s important in life. I would also like to thank you for your service Mick, Godspeed.
My thoughts are with you all.

Per Ardua ad Astra
