Yvonne McCall (21 Dec 1946 - 6 Dec 2017)

In loving memory of Yvonne McCall who sadly passed away on 6th December 2017. The dearly loved wife of Ian, dear mum of Yvette and Helen, sister of Roy and mother-in-law of Andy and Troy, also, the much loved Grandma of Erin and Ebony.

Having battled breast cancer in 2012, Yvonne was then devastatingly diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease later that same year. She faced this head on with a steely determination and true courage. Her fighting spirit and love of life and family remained with her to the end.

She was cared for in her last couple of months at Rock House residential home who the family would especially like to thank for their empathy, professionalism and compassion not only with Yvonne but with the family as a whole. Ian, Yvette and Helen remained constantly by Yvonne's side during her last few days and held her as she finally slipped away.

The funeral will be held at 1420 hrs on Thursday 21st December 2017 which would have been Yvonne's 71st birthday. The service will be at Rose Hill Crematorium, Doncaster and will be followed by refreshments at the Mount Pleasant Hotel, Bawtry Road Doncaster where all will be very welcome.

Yvonne's wishes were that she have family flowers only with donations to charity which will be the Alzheimer's Society via the link attached or collection at the funeral. The family would welcome any messages and memories which anyone would like to share to be added to this page.
