In loving memory of John James Paul Connolly who sadly passed away on 2nd December 2017

A loving, caring, and generous Dad, Grandad, Brother and friend. Lived life to the full and thrived on time with those around him up to the very end of life.

Was never bitter with what he was going through and as he put it, never far from a smile.

Will leave a hole in so many lives, but we were all lucky to have a share in the time he was with us.

Dad asked for no flowers at his funeral, but donations to cancer research, I have set a page up on here for ease. Love to all.

John Graham donated £50 in memory of John

Sorry I could not be there on the day mate, but you know you will always be with me.

John, sadly we did not have the privilege of knowing you for all that long, but in the time since we first met you we so much enjoyed your company. You were such a nice man, so kind, so
friendly, and so bloody funny! We will miss you greatly. Rest in peace.

Very sad hear about John. I saw firsthand the passion he had to do something about this dreadful disease. A very likeable, fun-loving and courageous guy.

John, I know you are listening. When I visited you on the many occasions that we spoke, you never once complained. We had a a good old chat like the times we had in The Gate, sorting out the Worlds problems as you do. You faced the horrible inevitability of your illness with a dignity that was an inspiration to us all. It was a pleasure knowing you my friend. RIP.
