Marie Susan Freeman ( Sue )
6th June 1953 - 8th November 2014

Dear Dear Family & Friends

I would like to thank you all who took the time to come and say farewell to Sue as she takes on her next journey. It was overwhelming to turn around after the service and see so many faces

There are some big thank you’s, I think are needed to be said and I know Susan would want me to.

Firstly to the nursing staff of Burton & Derby Hospitals. Thank you for the care & attention you gave to her while she was admitted to them.

A massive thank you goes to St Giles Hospice at Wittington for the expertise & kindness they showed her. Sue was not classed as a patient at St Giles while in there, but as a guest. Which made all the difference?.

It was Sue’s wish to have had her final days there. But alas was not to be

My heart felt thanks have to go to the Carers from Right at Home. For the dignity & compassion they showed Sue while caring for her needs. over the final weeks. Which was 4 times a day.
You will always be in my heart for what you did.

I have got to mention the Doctors & District nurses of the Dove River practice at Tutbury for being there for Sue 24/7. It did not matter what time of night or day it was they were there for her.

To Father Arul Samy, who gave her the spiritual needs that she wanted. I thank you for that.

A big thank you must go to all at Grices Funeral Service in Hatton for the care & attention they put on Susan in preparing for her next journey

I have to mention My very close family, Trish, Joanne, Malc, Marie, Steven, Jake & Jason Who without them all, I would, I am sure would have gone to pieces by now !!!!

I must also mention our staff here past and present of the Castle Hotel for all there help & pulling together to make Sue’s day ( Friday 21st November ) a day to cherish.

Also to all the friends, Sue & I have made while being here in Hatton. A BIG BIG thank you – goes to you
With your generosity on the donations given, we have raised over £2000.00 which will be given to St Giles Hospice

Adios Susan
Hasta Luego
We will love you always
Mike, Trish, Malc, Marie ( Mum ), Joanne, Steven, Jake and Jayson
