To my courageous, strong and beautiful friend Rachel Butterworth, today we had to say farewell. I am truly honored to be able to call you my friend. You have shown throughout your illness how strong you really are. You fought with grace and dignity. Never once believing it would beat you. I have never been inspired more than I have with you. Shine bright my friend until we meet again I'll keep you safe in my heart forever till we meet again. Love always xxx

We came and said our last goodbyes today Rachel...such a hard day... I was watching Emily singing with her school choir at the hospice last Monday 11th December... it brought back memories of last year when we were sitting there together watching Emily... She was amazing Rachel...you would have been so proud.....will miss you my friend and neighbour......Love always xxxx

Party in the garage! You had just got the date for your stem cell transplant but didn't fancy the hustle and bustle of a night on the town so we went to Ceri's garage and made plans for when you were better! We'll make sure they happen for you! Love you x
