Mike, was a kind, friendly, generous man with a great sense of humour. I was always grateful for the opportunity he gave me to join his team in 1989, we had a lot of fun and even did some work. He was legendary for reaching for a pencil and a fag packet when we had a tricky problem to solve. I am sorry I will not be able to attend his funeral. But my thoughts will be with his family and all who attend. Paul G.
