In loving memory of Charles Ashworth who sadly passed away on 10th November 2017

Mr Ashworth was not only an amazing dentist, but a funny warm hearted and caring man. I was around 5 when I first met him and he proceeded to pull all my wisdom teeth out! Our family dentist for 34 years, we laughed a lot, and visiting him in his professional capacity, made dental visits fun. Rest in peace with the angels, forever in our memories.

We all loved him!
As a matter of interest, please see yesterday's article on the Inside Croydon website about the Ashworth's lovely family home.
Fondest memories of Charles, Hazel & Family. He was a wonderful man, a fantastic dentist (I used to look forward to going!) & a terrific friend & patron of the arts. Hazel was the dearest lady & the house & garden were beautiful.
May he & Hazel rest in peace, & may God smile on their children.

Charles Ashworth III was my fathert, a wonderful man and a great raconteur! He was born in South Africa in 1937 and came to London in 1956 to study dentistry at Guy's Hospital! He ran a huge practice in Croydon, with over ten thousand patients! In 1997, Charles (Senior) retired and enjoyed twenty further years of good health. He travelled widely, and enjoyed going down to his holiday home in Wales with his Welsh wife, Hazel! We shall not see his like again!
