I met John through my mum Sheila, who was his Podiatrist for many years. He was such a lovely man, full of life and laughter. I will miss him very much, his smile lit up the room. Fly high with the Angels John xx

Such a gentleman. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. My father taught me how to play with a straight bat both in cricket and in life. A truly lovely, kind and generous chap known by everyone in the community he helped to protect as a police officer for so many years. He was respected by all. He leaves behind many friends and family with wonderful memories of him. Rest well Big John.
