In loving memory of Beryl Irene Slack who sadly passed away on 12th November 2017
Beryl was a wonderful caring mum, a loving grandma, great grandma and sister. She met our dad Harry Slack on the buses at Midland Red whilst our dad was a driver and she was a conductress. The rest they say is history. And what a history! A real hard working woman who was fiercely protective of her kids and worked hard to keep food in our stomachs. She loved sad films, soft music and having a laugh. A funny, sarcastic, witty and very intelligent woman, she loved life and handled everything it threw at her. We are immensely proud to have had you as our mum and you will be greatly missed, always.
The funeral will take place on the 29th of November at 11.00am at Swanwick Crematorium, Alfreton, Derbyshire. Following on to the The Midland Hotel, Nottingham Road, Ripley, please join us to celebrate the wonderful life of our mum Beryl.
