You were a wonderful friend to me over the last 25 years and I shared some of the best times of my life with you on our numerous trips to far away and distant lands. You were generous, kind and a true gentleman and had a great spirit of adventure and inquisitiveness that went with you on all our adventures. This is one journey you do solo my friend- but you will be forever in my thoughts and just like I used to sing on many a good night at Anfield over the years.....You'll Never Walk Alone- Be at peace my friend.

To a lovely father in law and Grandad.....you will be greatly missed by us all. You sadly never got to meet your new grandaughter Ava but we will be certain to make sure she knows what a lovely man her Grandad was. Xx

Thanks for being the perfect ally in the pursuit of cakes, ice cream and chocolate! Don’t worry, I’ll try to keep on refilling your stock of chocolate bars that you used to hide in Pat’s garage. Your secret stash is safe with me! Well, maybe not so safe..

To a great and funny man who showed me the world. Here's 20 quid as a reminder of how frequently I used to take a 20 off you :)
