I befriended Elizabeth in the late 1960's when at the beginning of our teaching careers. Later, we both became good friends of Elizabeth and Mike whilst living in Chelmsford. We have been privileged to have known such a lovely person. Known forever as "my ambitious friend", we admired the way she reached the top of her profession with hard work and determination. Our thoughts, prayers and love are with all the family at this sad time. Val and Alan.
