God bless and care for you Graeme, I had only found out tonight about our loss. I can only agree with the other comments and will now have a toast to your life with a scotch - even though I hate the stuff!
My thoughts and best wishes go to Vicky and their children.

We were so shocked and saddened to hear that Graeme had passed away . Sending our heartfelt sympathy to Vicky, Luke, Thomas, Joseph and Nathanial . We share some happy
memories of Graeme as neighbours in Bunachton many years ago and remember how he was so proud to introduce us to Vicky and thereafter his lovely boys , the family he proudly adored. He will be sadly missed and we send our loving thoughts to Vicky and all the family at this time. x

Still shocked after hearing this news only shortly after Graeme's passing.

Graeme was a wonderful man, something that everyone who knew him were all too aware of.
Kind, Caring, Generous and always thinking of others before himself. All things that people say about people who depart from this earth, however in Graeme's case never a truer word could ever be spoken.

I remember the day he started at Mercury. Straight out of BT and down from Inverness, jumping in at the deep end with the rest of us. One of the team - always willing to learn, however always keen to pass on his wealth of knowledge to others. Proceeded up to the Ranks of "Section leader", where he excelled in the ability to be able to guide those of us that needed it, and then in the next breath taking the mickey about something we had mucked up on, with a rye however jokey expression on his face (as if to say "i was there once - i remember what it was like"). But Graeme never lost the ability to be in touch with the individuals, whilst having to put up with the pressures of "Management". Graeme believed in me - something that has stayed with me since those days, and something i have been able to take forwards in my work and personal life since those days now long gone.

Oh how Excited Graeme would be when he talked about Vicky - he had found his one true soul mate. There were days (a lot of them!) where he would be bubbling over with excitement about what they were going to do, or the plans they had. And since those times, how extremely proud he was about their children :)

More recently, we had lost contact to a degree (the pressures of daily life took their toll) - However our paths would still cross. From microwave radio training courses in Warrington with Dino (oh how we reminisced on the old days over evening meals!) to Graeme's love of motorbikes (to the point of him disappearing for evenings for a leisurely ride out, or for a sneaky breakfast!).

Graeme - Ride Safe my friend. Rest in peace, and may the Angels grant you the freedom to roam wherever you wish. You will always be in my thoughts.

  • Thank you so much. Graeme had so many plans for the group, and it’s particularly cruel that he found such wonderful friends in the last few months of his life. Keep exploring and ride safe. X

Graeme is one of life's nice guys, devoted to his family and all round good guy. When we moved to Sully 7 years ago next door to the Morley's ,Graeme and the whole family made us very welcome and we have been friends since and spent many hours chatting over the garden fence. Life has been very cruel but he will be dearly missed and loved by us all. Love and best wishes to the Morley's and we are all here to help. Love, Nige,Alison,Jessica and James xxx
