It is impossible to summarise Roger in a few words. He was the man I was blessed to share 49 years of my life with. He enjoyed life to the full, and showed tremendous quiet courage as he came to the end of it. He touched so many people in his life, and above all, it is his kindness, generosity of spirit and humour that will be remembered.

Roger was a funny man and so cheerful we didn't realise he was so ill and will be missed.
