Sue Fowler (11 Feb 1957 - 30 Oct 2017)
In loving memory of Audrey Louise Fowler known as Sue who sadly passed away on 30th October 2017. Born in Birmingham on the 11th February 1957, 60 years old. Mother to her only son Dean Fowler.
As sue's partner i feel blessed, we were both born in Birmingham. I enjoyed her stories of growing up and the struggles her family went through as well as the good times of course. Many times we would be driving to Erdington she would tell me of friends she knew along the route, she always made me smile with her little stories. Motherhood came early for Sue, she took the role and made it her own. I see Dean and how well mannered and polite he is, this is not something we are born with. Sue instilled a sense of right in her son, she laid the groundwork for him in his future. Sue's working career as a carer shows how much she enjoyed helping people, when we passed someone down on their luck Sue always gave them enough for a hot drink and a meal. She always looked at the way she would like to be cared for, and that's how she would care for others. A lifetime of caring, i wonder how many souls she cared for. What a beautiful gift to give to the world.
Her fight against cancer was hard, in this she gave us strength. her love was always showing through with her positive attitude. It amazes me how she felt the pain of us all around her and focused on this before thinking of herself. She could always comfort me with her words and outlook.
My time with Sue was short, i will treasure it. We all hope to leave a footprint that shows we were of worth. That we made a difference. Sue certainly left a footprint anyone would be proud to call their own.
Goodbye my love, it will be hard without you by my side. You are with the Angels now.
