A beautiful, wonderful woman of God. Your beauty and grace came from within. Always encouraging with a dry wit and sense of humour, I was never sure if you're joking or not, until the smile came.
Now in the presence of Jesus Forever. Miss you on Wednesdays. See you soon.
Love, Judith

I remember a certain day where I came into skill centre and just felt depressed with the way I looked and felt. And Alison started giving me compliments on the things I wore and she said to me "your beautiful inside and out". Alison your so beautiful inside and out to. Your smile, your laughter, your kindness; well I will never forget any of that. I will love and miss you always.

My fondest memory of Alison was on the last Wednesday working in the Skill Centre with her. Just as I was leaving she said, with a big smile on her face, 'I Love You' and I gave her a hug.

Alison was a wonderful member of Emmanuel Full Gospel International in Redruth Cornwall UK. She was always willing to help in so many different ways those who were poor or ill or needed help. Alison is already greatly missed and we all wish we had had more time together to get to know even more about her and her lovely family. Heaven's gain is our loss, but we know for certain that we will meet again in heaven as Alison loved Jesus Christ with all her heart. Until that day - we will keep you in our fondest memories.

It was Christine's first birthday that brought Alison and her family into our lives, and since then Alison and her family have become like family to us. We have been through the highs and lows with them all over many years since, and Alison quickly became one of Sarah’s closest friends.
Alison was so many things to so many people. She had great energy and supported a wide range of charitable and church activities, and much more besides that helped many others. She was also very brave, making difficult choices time and again to ensure the best for her family. When Jim came into her life they formed a loving partnership in which they both thrived and were mutually supportive. She leaves us all the richer for fun times and the struggles, for the friendship and the love, and for the gift of her children and grandchildren. We loved her, and we love them, so much. Alison was a wonderful friend to our family during our years in The Falklands. She had faced some very hard years & was raising her three wonderful children alone when we first knew her. She did this with an abundance of love & the best roast potatoes! Her bravery was an example to all and she was so generous & hospitable. Alison was enterprising, courageous & a woman of great faith. She loved her family & her Lord & in due course she loved Jim. He brought her SUCH joy & hope & their wedding day was truly wonderful. I admired Alison for so many reasons & valued her friendship greatly. Her family are a huge credit to her. Rest in peace dear Alison & enjoy all the coffee & walnut cake Heaven has prepared for you.

My favourite memory of Alison is from one of the variety shows. There were a bunch of children learning how to play the trumpet. Alison's reaction was perfect and one I will never forget! Sending you all so much love, tea and hugs ❤️ Xxxxxx

Alison and I started working together a lot when I was asked to set up a Cancer charity in the Falklands by a man who was dying from breast cancer. I was secretary and she was treasurer. We worked for this charity for 18 years and got on very well together. Some years after starting the trust I became chairman and she secretary and we introduced the first ever mammography screening in the Islands, a very difficult thing to do as the doctor, nurse and radiographer plus engineer had to come from Chile. We would see each other almost daily and shared many laughs together. In time I retired from the charity and Alison stayed on for another year. We raised a lot of money for the charity which was very time consuming and involved me driving many miles!

We started swimming together, persuading Alison to go was not easy but once we were in the pool, she was the one encouraging me with the words, ‘let’s do two more lengths Theresa’. We started with 12 lengths in the hour and ended up doing 26 before she and Jim spent more time on their business. I became one of their employees and again Alison and I spent many hours laughing and eating cake, she was an excellent baker.
I missed Alison terribly when she and Jim went to England and it took me a while to find another path, love you Alison, sleep well Theresa
