In loving memory of Eileen Patricia Pugh who died on 14th October 2017. She was an incredibly strong person who defined the word 'stoicism'. Over the last 25 years she has bravely, and successfully, overcome 3 separate primary cancers. The last couple of years have been difficult as she has become increasingly frail. Throughout this time, she has never once complained about her condition. She was lucid until the end and she simply "wanted to sleep".

The funeral details are as shown to the right. Refreshments will be at the British Legion in Machen and we would love to see as many of Mum's friends and relations as possible.

Please feel free to add your own memories.

  • A couple of hours out in Penarth with Gail, Kim and me. Mum had me getting a pebble from the beach, which she rejected and sent me to get another one!
