Dad you kept so strong this last year no matter what came your way you just took it and carried on. You never lost your sense of humour, you had had us laughing right till the very last time we spoke. Goodnight and god bless. Love you. xxxx

It was a pleasure to have known Alan. I met him through his son Andy and lived opposite to him for years he was always friendly an welcoming and always had time to talk with me and our boys. He was a nice man and he will be missed. RIP Al x

  • Remember this well. It was my stag do in Scotland and I was chuffed to have my father-in-law join the gang. He was certainly game, but him carrying those skis was as close to he came to actually skiing, not long after this snap was taken he was enjoying the apres ski. A real gent, great wit, loving father and grand father who will be sorely missed. Rest well Alan X
