Deepest sympathy to Barbara, Donna and all Bill's nephews and nieces and family.
There is only one word to describe Bill and that is a GENTLEMAN.
When I first met Bill about 12 years ago in a local club he was the first person to welcome me and make me feel at home. He told me about his days in the RAF in Egypt and as my father's first cousin was a pilot in the RAF in the second World war and shot down over Tunisia we had a good old chat about that.
I then met Bill at Mass most Sundays in The Sacred Heart church in Horseferry Road and he always had a smile on his face and a friendly greeting even though he had bad health and was in pain. Frank his good friend and neighbor kept me updated on how he was when he stopped going out. I will remember Bill with fond thoughts and will keep him in my prayers.
